We went to visit Choquihuanca a couple of weeks ago and found out there were some ruins in Pucarra so we went to visit them. Pretty impressive. We stayed in a hotel that was pretty scary and didn't get much sleep as you can see by the picture of Hermana Johnson and the only friend she could in town.

  1. Ruins EVERYWHERE!. You'll never get to see all of them. After a while, it's like "what, more ruins?". Those ancients were really builders. I saw some terrace ruins on the train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, on the other side of the river that I bet no one has even been to for many years, they are fairly inaccessible across that wild river.

Looks like the weather is nice (at least on the day of the photos), it can change quickly in this season though. Our best wishes to you, we love seeing your blog posts.
