Field Trip

For some unknown reason Susan and I ended up on a field trip with the kids in the Stake. We went to the temple of the Moon then hiked a full circle above Cusco and back to the church. It was a long hike but there were different Inca structures all the way. I am so amazed at what those people did with rocks. BIG ROCKS!

Ollentaytambo Ruins

We got a couple of new members in our district. Elder Cedeno and Hermana Valdebenito. the District leader decided we need a little outing on P day.

The Incas didn't pick the easiest spots to build. I couldn't believe my eyes when saw these ruins. No TV or cell phones, they just had too much time on their hands.

Avenida Del Sol at night

We were on the Avenida the other night and I finally snapped. I walked by one of those stands that sell beefkabobs and I couldn't take it any more. I bought one and ate it, and it was really good. No bad effects. (so far)

Rosas family

We went to Rosas house to visit her family. She lives at the top of the hill on the other side of the valley. Rosa cleans our building and we have become very good friends. Anyway her husband went to the hospital to get his appendix out and came home with an infection. He went back but is still not doing good. Whats more, he can't work. It is a strain right now for them. We took this family photo for them.
